Kun Marathon, a running event for children aged 6–10, began distributing bibs and race kits from 8:00 a.m. on December 19. Participation is free of charge. Parents are required to prepare the QR code sent in advance by the organizers and follow the instructions to complete the check-in process.

In Hải Phòng, the event marks the final stop in the 2025 race series. The organizers also combined it with the companion activity “Kun Tết – Small actions, big joy.”

Children are encouraged to write down small actions they plan to do during the upcoming New Year and Lunar New Year holidays. Some want to help their parents with household chores, while others aim to achieve perfect scores at school as gifts for their parents.

They can also write wishes for their families and hang them on the “Tree of Joy” following the organizers’ guidance. The organizers hope this activity not only refreshes the experience but also helps create a festive Tet atmosphere—the biggest family reunion of the year.

In addition, at the Kun Marathon bib pickup area on the morning of December 19, a calligrapher (“Ông Đồ”) was present, ready to write custom calligraphy couplets as gifts for parents and children, delighting many young participants.

Kun Marathon Hải Phòng 2025 will kick off at 7:00 a.m. on December 20 at the City Children’s Palace. The nearly 1-kilometer course features multiple physical challenges. In addition to the race, 2,000 children will have the opportunity to interact with People’s Artist Xuân Bắc, Artist Trường Giang, freestyle footballer Đỗ Kim Phúc, along with many YouTubers and TikTokers.
